We started with a simple idea - make proper pies! Having been disappointed by the quality of many supermarket pies, we wanted to do something better. Proper fillings, not pureed slop. Slow cooked flavours - we have a belief that most pie fillings should be allowed to rest overnight in the fridge before filling the pie, to enable the flavours to mingle.
The Wirral Food and Arts farmer's market in Hoylake is where we first had a pie stall and things were going well, until the pandemic. As the customer couldn't come to us, we decided to take our pies to the customer. We are very pleased to say that we now attend Farmer's Markets most weekends, with a full list on the front page of the site.
We still aim to offer a local delivery service for those who can't get to the market and will email in advance to tell you what flavours are being baked. Please note the deliveries will be the same weekend as the market and the same flavours and is subject to stock availability. Minimum delivery is 4 pies (£16) and every pie thereafter is another £4.
